How It Works: A Comprehensive Guide to the Vacuum Packaging Process
Evacuate
- Place the items to be packaged into the packaging bag and place the bag inside the vacuum chamber.
- Press down on the top cover of the vacuum sealer to seal the vacuum chamber.
- The vacuum pump starts up, extracting the air from the chamber to create a vacuum inside the packaging bag.
Heat Sealing
- Once the vacuum level reaches the preset value, the vacuum pump stops running.
- The heating strip heats up and fuses the bag opening to create a complete seal, preventing air from entering.
Cooling and Setting
- The heating strip stops heating, and the cooling system cools the sealing area to reinforce the seal.
- Lift the lid of the vacuum chamber to complete the vacuum packaging process.
Customized to Your Needs: A Variety of Configuration Options

Inflatable Options
After the product has been vacuum-sealed, the bag can be filled with nitrogen, carbon dioxide, or oxygen.

Slow and Gentle Deflation
Use the slow-release function to prevent sharp items such as bones, fish, and seafood from puncturing the vacuum bag and causing air leaks.

Vacuum Chamber Dimensions
The size of the vacuum chamber can be customized according to product specifications.

Sealing Styles
Seal patterns include floral designs, M-shaped, and V-shaped, suitable for a variety of applications.

Vacuum Level Requirements
Different products have varying vacuum requirements. For example, food packaging typically requires a high vacuum level (close to 99%), while some industrial products only require a medium vacuum level.
The ultimate vacuum of a vacuum pump determines the highest vacuum level the equipment can achieve; when selecting a model, it is essential to ensure that the vacuum pump’s ultimate vacuum specifications meet the operating conditions.
Pump Speed
Pumping speed refers to the volume of gas that a vacuum pump can extract per unit of time; it is commonly measured in cubic meters per hour (m³/h) or liters per minute (L/min).
When assembly line packaging operations aim for high-speed production, selecting a vacuum pump with a high pumping speed can significantly increase production capacity;
Small devices or household vacuum cleaners can be equipped with low-pumping-speed pumps.
Our vacuum packaging machines can be configured with vacuum pumps in sizes of 8 m³, 20 m³, 65 m³, 100 m³, and 200 m³ as needed, and can also be equipped with Busch vacuum pumps as an option.
Bag Size and Package Quantity
The larger the packaging bag and the greater the number of items packaged at one time, the greater the total volume of air that needs to be extracted, which means a higher-power vacuum pump must be selected.
For example: Industrial-grade vacuum packaging machines are typically equipped with high-power vacuum pumps, making them suitable for packaging large quantities of large-sized products.
How It Works: A Detailed Explanation of the Complete Packaging Process
Complete System for Vacuum Heat-Shrink Packaging of Meat
The product is placed in the vacuum chamber, and the vacuum pump is activated to extract the air from the chamber, creating a vacuum environment.
Once the set vacuum level is reached, the heating bar thermally seals the bag opening to ensure a complete, airtight seal.
Open the vacuum chamber, and the vacuum-sealed products are conveyed to the next process.
The vacuum-packed products are placed in a water-bath heating tank.
This hot water blanching machine / hot water shrink tunnel contains hot water maintained at a constant temperature, which can be precisely adjusted according to product requirements.
The product is heated evenly in a water bath, and the packaging bag adheres closely to the product's surface, conforming to its shape.
Advantages of water bath heating: uniform temperature and gentle heating, making it suitable for products such as meat that are sensitive to high temperatures.
Once the heat-shrinking process is complete, the products enter the air-drying tunnel.
The air-drying tunnel is equipped with a lift-type sensor-activated fan, which can be adjusted to different heights depending on the product’s height to dry the product’s surface, remove residual moisture from the packaging, and ensure the product remains dry and clean.
