What is a single-chamber vacuum sealer? Who is it best suited for?

A single-chamber vacuum sealer (also known as a single-chamber vacuum packaging machine) operates by placing the packaging bag containing the product entirely inside a sealed chamber. The top cover is closed to form a sealed space, and a vacuum pump extracts all the air from the chamber (including the air inside the bag); Subsequently, the built-in sealing bar heat-seals the bag opening, after which air is reintroduced into the chamber.
Work Cycle Steps:
Open the top lid → Place the product package into the chamber
Place the top of the bag over the seal.
Close and lock the top cover
The vacuum pump simultaneously extracts air from both the chamber and the packaging bag.
Heat the seal to seal the bag opening
Air is introduced into the chamber → The top cover can be opened
Remove the finished, packaged products → Repeat the process
Cycle time: Typically 15–35 seconds per bag, depending on the product volume and target vacuum level.

Limitations:
Only one bag can be processed per cycle; operations are performed sequentially and cannot be processed in parallel.
The chamber dimensions limit the maximum external dimensions of the packaging bags and products.
Not suitable for oversized or irregularly shaped products
YGPACK Single-Chamber Vacuum Sealer Series: Chamber sizes range from 320 × 400 mm to 500 × 600 mm, with a maximum vacuum level of –99 kPa; an optional gas-flushing function (modified atmosphere packaging, MAP) is available.
