Exhibition Overview

RosUpack 2026 marks its 30th anniversary as the largest and most authoritative international packaging exhibition in the Eurasian region. This anniversary edition will be held from June 16 to 19 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow. The exhibition area has been expanded to include Halls 2 and 3, and the event is expected to attract more than 30,000 trade visitors from Russia, CIS countries, and overseas markets.

With a market size of $15 billion, the Russian packaging market is one of the most dynamic in the world, supported by a vast domestic consumer goods manufacturing sector, a substantial food processing industry, and continued investment in pharmaceutical packaging. RosUpack is the premier procurement event for packaging buyers across all of these industries in Russia.

Market Insights: Trends in the Russian Packaging Industry

The 2026 RosUpack trade show highlighted several unique market trends:

• Import Substitution: After years of trade restrictions, Russian domestic manufacturers have accelerated their efforts to bring domestically produced packaging equipment online, presenting both competition and opportunities for overseas equipment suppliers.
• Investment in Food Safety: As Russia’s food safety regulations continue to tighten, demand is rising for vacuum packaging and modified-atmosphere packaging equipment that complies with Russian State Standards (GOST).
• Agricultural Product Processing: Russia has a vast agricultural sector that encompasses grains, dairy products, meat, and honey, and vacuum packaging technology holds enormous untapped potential for application in this field.
